FAQS

What is the cancellation policy for tour bookings?
Generally, cancellations that are made at least 24 hours in advance of the tour departure time do not incur any charge, except for the Alhambra in Granada and Caminito del Rey tours. For these tours, there is a cancellation fee of 30 euros once the ticket is reserved, and a 50% fee if cancelled no less than 48 hours in advance of the tour. There can be no refund if notice is not given or if it is given less than 48 hrs in advance of the scheduled departure time of the tour. If the client does not show up for the tour (without having provided notice), no refund will be given.

How do I identify the tour bus, and how early should I arrive at the bus stop?
The tour guide will get off the bus with a list and call out the names of customers who have made a reservation. It is recommended that you arrive at the bus stop 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time. However, please note that the agency is not responsible for delays due to road traffic, maritime, or aerial conditions.

What guarantees do you offer in case the tour is delayed or cancelled?
In the case of cancellation, we offer a 100% refund. At BGT Travel, we always strive to pick up customers at the scheduled time. However, traffic conditions are beyond our control. If there is a delay, please refer to the voucher for an emergency contact number + 34 664 64 80 61 to call and find out the location and estimated delay of the bus. We also try to proactively inform you about delays.

How much time is dedicated to each destination during the tour?
Each destination on our tour is typically allocated between 4 1/2 and 5 hours.

Are there any age restrictions or health requirements for the tour?
Anyone can participate in the excursion, but please note that animals and pets are not allowed. Children under 3 years old can attend for free, but they must sit on their parents’ laps. From ages four to eleven, the price is 75% of the adult rate since these children require a seat on the bus. To participate in the Caminito del Rey tour, children must be at least eight years old, and proof of age must be presented at the entrance. We recommend that anyone who wishes to participate should be physically capable of walking, climbing stairs, and keeping up with the group. Our shared tours are not suitable for people with reduced mobility.

What documents do I need to bring with me on the tour?
According to current legislation in the Kingdom of Spain and the European Union, it is mandatory to carry your passport or ID with you in all  public places. On the day of the excursions to Granada, Gibraltar, and Tangier, you must bring the ID or passport that was indicated at the time of reservation.

May I bring food and drinks on the tour?
Yes, you are welcome to bring food and drinks with you, but please note that eating and drinking on the bus is not allowed (except for water)

What is the maximum group size for the tour?
The maximum group size is 70 people.

What languages are spoken by the tour guides?
We offer tours in up to five languages: English, Spanish, German, French, and Italian. For private tours, we can arrange guides who speak other languages such as Arabic, Swedish, Russian, Finnish, and more.

What additional activity options are available at each destination?
For shared tours, there are no additional activities offered besides transportation, monument tickets, and guided tours. However, for special tours, the options are unlimited and may include activities such as flamenco shows, boat tours, historical tours, wine and olive oil tastings, and more.
